In the last few years we have seen an increase in data breaches and cyber security incidents across multiple industries in both large and small medium enterprises, indicating that no organisation is immune to these attacks.

The increase is attributable to a number of things; accelerated adoption in technology due to the COVID 19 pandemic; the rise in 4IR and the interconnections between different key stakeholders. It has therefore become imperative for all organisations regardless of their size or geographic location to protect themselves from these adverse attacks by building cyber strategies aligned to their strategic imperatives.

My passion is to work together with different stakeholders within the organisation in helping them understand their cyber security and data privacy risk exposure and assist them in building relevant and adequate controls to mitigate these whilst supporting the business growth agenda. 

Secondly, given my background in governance, I am able to capacitate executives and boards on their responsibility in addressing and responding to the cyber security and data privacy risk in their respective roles.
